Am Strand von Nieblum, in der Nieblumer Windsurfing Schule gibt es Surf-, Kite-, Catamaran- und Kitebuggykurse für Jedermann.
Our house is located, in the green heart of the island, in a quiet village location, at the end of a dead end road.
Alkersum is an ideal starting point for walks, bike rides or beach days.
The beach of Nieblum is in about 3.5 km distance and easy to reach by bike. To the "island-capital" Wyk it is about 4 km.
Bike paths through the march and across the island, lead pass the house in about 50 meters away.
Alkersum has several riding stables, a bakery, a very well known art museum, an inn and the farm shop of the island cheese dairy. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Midlum and Nieblum (1,5-2 km).
On the beach of Nieblum, in the Nieblumer Windsurfing School, there are surf, kite, catamaran and kite buggy courses for everyone.
In Wyk you will find everything the holidaymaker's heart desires, for example shopping and a pedestrian area for strolling, swimming pool, fitness center, spa, cinema, cafes and pubs .....

In the case of cancellation or withdrawal, you will incur the following costs as a percentage of the total price:
25% if canceled up to 28 days before the rental period, 50% in the period of 28 to 14 days and 100% if canceled within the last 14 days before arrival or no show.
If we can re-let the apartment for the booked period, only an expense allowance in the amount of 25, - € will be due.
There is a spa tax of € 1.30 or € 2.60 per night and adult charged by the spa administration of the island of Föhr.

Coming from Hamburg we are at home on the island since autumn 2010. We enjoy the quiet island life very much. In October 2012 we had the great luck to take over our island nest.
