Holiday destination
This cottage is situated in the Black Perigord above Cenac et St Julien with stunning views of Domme. The landscape is very hilly and full of Castles and Forts dating back to the 100 years war when this area was fiercly fought over. Things to see include the medieval city of Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Castelnaud, Beynac, Chateau des Milandes as well as night markets in July and August where you can sample local produce and wine. The Black Perigord is famous for Foie Gras, Truffel, and wine.
Getting there
By air either to Bergerac (65 Km) or Brive (50 Km) or Toulouse (170 Km) or Bordeaux (200 Km) then by car to Cenac et St. Julien- We are situated aboput 2 Km above Cenac along the D50.
