The Berlin/Potsdam/Brandenburg region is rich in untouched nature and culture. There are museums with artefacts dating back to 10,000 BC. The region is highly innovative with the most modern medical and IT start-ups. You can also enjoy cuisine from almost all countries in Europe and around the world. Whether orchestra or cabaret shows – the variety beckons.
Rustic, wide landscape with lots of sky and flat hills. In 1797, Queen Louise and Frederick William III. of Prussia were spellbound by Paretz and had it completely rebuilt in the style of Davis Gilly, Karl Friedrich Schinkel's teacher in Berlin.
Here, you will find your own options – whether on foot, by bike, or by canoe or paddle boat. Endless cycle paths and lake and river landscapes. A wealth of pure nature at the gates of Berlin and Potsdam.
From the autobahn A 10 or E 55 take exit Potsdam-Nord.
Follow yellow signs to "Uetz" on the autobahn and turn off immediately.
Kreisstraße leads you through the small historical settlement of Uetz (village with manor/church). Simply follow the asphalt road with the 200-year-old lime trees to the entrance of Paretz - with a T-shaped junction, which is lined on the left and right by a historic gatehouse, each in ochre-coloured plaster. Turn right here on "Paretz- Hofer-Straße", follow the asphalt road about 300 m until you see the farm house with
the house number 36 in the middle of the narrow pass on the left side, there you can first park in the entrance and simply ring the bell. Then we will show you
everything else.
