Other recreational opportunities
Guests can bring their own bicycles or rent them in town and explore the coastline. Another option is to grab the kite board or stand-up paddle board and walk to the beach. Kids will enjoy the Aquarium in Fehmarn or the Galileo Wissenswelt (hands-on museum). Dining or trying the delicious cake served at country inns. Take the dog on a walk along the ocean or dyke to the Fehmarn Sound Bridge.
Holiday destination
We are located on the narrow headland just outside Fehmarn. Since we're (almost) on the island, we'll get the favourable island climate. A private path separates our house from Großenbrode's west beach (150m). There are no beach chairs & snack stands, but you can let your four-legged companion off the leash, take your kite/surfboard to the designated water sports area or go fishing at the Fehmarn Sound Bridge.
Getting there
Arrivals are possible from 4pm. We personally take care of the cleaning, hand-over of keys and are available to answer questions and explain the use of the fireplace and sauna. In the winter months, we light the fireplace for you and make sure all rooms are at a pleasant temperature.
If you travel on the A1, once you've passed Lübeck, you'll reach the beach house in roughly 40 minutes.
How about making a stop in Heiligenhafen where you can buy everything you need? However, Großenbrode has a well sorted Edeka store.

Skiing and kitesurfing. The latter brought me to the Baltic Sea; I fell in love with the ocean and with my current wife. And I stayed.
Since we love the Baltic Sea in its primitiveness, we were instantly captivated by the location of the house. Regardless of the length of our stay at the Treibgut: We always leave completely relaxed and energised. Life slows down here!

Das Strandhaus Treibgut hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ein toller Garten mit viel Privatsphäre und nur wenige Schritte zum Naturstrand, an dem unser Hund wunderbar laufen konnte.
Sehr nette Nachbarschaft, die die Übergabe sehr freundlich gestaltete.
Ein Ferienhaus, dass wir ohne "Wenn und Aber " weiter empfehlen . Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Aufenthalt.

In diesem Ferienhaus fühlen wir uns rundum wohl. Das Treibgut hat eine top Lage, eine hervorragende Ausstattung, ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl hier. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt. Entspannung ist garantiert.
Unser 11 jähriger Sohn fühlt sich ebenfalls rundum wohl, hat hier ein eigenes Zimmer. Der Weststrand ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Unsere zwei Hunde (Labradore) genießen wie wir die erholsamen Strandspaziergänge. Der Garten ist von Hecken umgeben, so dass die Hunde sich frei bewegen können. Der Strand ist nicht überlaufen, im Gegenteil schön ruhig. So stellen wir uns Urlaub vor!
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist sehr nett. Wir haben absolut nichts zu bemängeln.
