Das Haus war bei der Ankunft gut geheizt. Alle Heizkörper waren eingeschaltet. Mit 1 oder 2 Heizkörpern konnte das Haus angenehm warm bleiben, aber wir gingen oft weg und schalteten alles aus. Leider haben wir den Holzofen nicht genutzt, da vor dem Schuppen kein Holz vorhanden war. War kein Problem.
In den ersten Tagen herrschte in der Küche ein unangenehmer Geruch. Anscheinend war vor unserer Ankunft etwas beschädigt und entfernt worden.
