Holiday destination
De Koog is the only true seaside resort on the island. The village offers everything a tourist could wish for. After a day at the beach, head to Dorpsstraat in the center of De Koog, sit on a terrace or shop in one of the stores.
This apartment in the center of De Koog near the beach entrance is actually between everything, the tranquility of nature and the active life of the village with its numerous restaurants and cafes.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the traffic signs to De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg, turn right into Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can go no further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.
