Holiday destination
Our guest house is situated in the heart of the village in a quaint lane almost without any car. Bizanet is a nice winegrowers village with 1200 inhabitants, 12 km from Narbonne, surrounded by vineyards and pine trees and ideally situated for exploring the Corbières. The abbey of Fontfroide (XIth c.) is nearby. In Bizanet you will find a small supermarket and a baker and... besides the winegrowers cooperative a dozen private wine cellars. On several days, there are market stalls on the square.

Wir haben in der Placette traumhafte Ferien verbracht. Das liebevoll restaurierte und mit viel Geschmack ausgestattete alte Steinhaus war äusserst sauber und die Betreuung sehr angenehm. Bizanet ist ein ruhiges kleines Dorf mit Bäckerei, Épicerie und kleinem Restaurant. Die Nachbarn sind ruhig und gastfreundlich. Das Haus liegt sehr günstig für Ausflüge in der Aude. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Kam man mal abends müde nach Hause, so bot die Dachterrasse mit ihren 33 Baum- und Pflanzenarten - wir haben sie Eden getauft - und dem allabendlichen Schwalbenballett. Danach hat uns das nahe Kirchengeläute in den Schlaf gewiegt. Die Placette eignet sich gut für kulturell und landschaftlich interessierte Ehepaare, die Zurückgezogenheit geniessen. Dass sich die Räume auf 3 Etagen verteilen ist kein Hindernis.

In La Placette lässt es sich leben! Das wunderschön eingerichtete Natursteinhaus lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Hier hat der Besitzer mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet. Besonders die Dachterrasse hatte es uns angetan, auf der wir viele schöne Stunden verbracht haben. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet - man findet alles, was man braucht. Das Einzige, was uns gefehlt hat, war WLAN. Die Gegend ist ebenfalls sehr schön - egal, ob man die gut erreichbaren Strände bevorzugt oder lieber Wandern geht in den Corbieres. Auch die beeindruckenden Katharerburgen sind die Reise wert. Die Gastfreundlichkeit der Südfranzosen hat uns beeindruckt. Dies gilt nicht zuletzt auch unserem netten Vermieter, Herrn Arndt-Jeamart, der gerne bereit war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen. Vielen Dank dafür!
