I am delighted that you are interested in our holiday flat! I will send you an offer in response to your reservation enquiry. If you would like to accept this, please send me a binding booking by e-mail. In this e-mail please state - Your billing address, - your mobile phone number where I can reach you on the day of arrival and - any requests (separate beds, baby cot, high chair, etc.). I will send you a booking confirmation with invoice and bank details for the transfer of a deposit of approx. 40 per cent of the rental costs. Once I have sent you my booking confirmation, the holiday flat is then bindingly booked for both parties. CANCELLATION: Thereafter, a free cancellation is only possible if I can re-let the flat for the booked period. Otherwise I will charge these cancellation costs: Cancellation up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: deposit. Oberursel has a big public pool. The area is ideal for hiking - the slopes of the Taunus mountains are within walking distance. Visit the spa in Bad Homburg with its hot springs, the sauna centers in Bad Homburg and Hofheim. Wiesbaden is 45 minutes away (by car), to get to the Rhine valley takes an hour.
Holiday destination
You can reach the shops and restaurants of Oberursel city center within 5 minutes by foot. Visit the old part of Oberursel, whith houses from the 15th century. Public transport connecting you with the university, Frankfurt Fair (Messe Frankfurt), central train station, airport and center of Frankfurt can be reached within 2 minutes. The woods of the Taunus mountains are close by. So Oberursel is ideal to start your exploration into the nature, culture and economy of the heart of Germany.
Getting there
"Oberursel/Altstadt" is the stop for tram/subway line U3 connecting Frankfurt Südbahnhof/Hauptwache with Oberursel-Hohemark. The stop is two minutes away from the apartment. S5 train connects Oberursel with Frankfurt Central Train Station. Airport is reached within 40 minutes.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit einem sehr netten Vermieter. Man hatte in der Wohnung alles was man brauchte...bis zur Klimaanlage!!! Die perfekte Unterkunft in der Nähe vom Taunus.Wir kommen sicher bald wieder.

Im August 2021 waren wir das erste Mal bei Familie Borgfeld in Oberursel. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und waren mit der Ferienwohnung sehr zufrieden. Seitdem waren wir dort schon oft zu Gast, meist 3-4 Mal im Jahr. Inzwischen ist es wie "heimkommen". Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Zeit reicht immer für eine kleine Plauderei. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und gepflegt sowie gut ausgestattet; sie liegt zentral und es ist trotzdem ruhig dort. Wir sind ohne Auto unterwegs und deshalb ist es wichtig, dass Bus und U-Bahn sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig gut erreichbar sind. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut fair und unübertroffen. Wir können die Ferienwohnung von Familie Borgfeld nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
