Cancellation policy
The booking can be cancelled. However, the amount of default compensation payable is scaled as follows: Up to 26 weeks 25%, up to 13 weeks 50%, up to 6 weeks 75%, from 28 days before arrival 100% will be charged. If the accommodation can be rented to another person, the compensation will be reduced accordingly. In all cases, the traveller is free to prove that no damage has been incurred or that the damage is significantly lower.

Holiday destination
Kamilari is a peaceful village about 3 km from the sea. This means that several beaches are nearby (Kalamaki, Matala with Komo Beach and Red Beach, Kokkinos Pyrgos, ...), as well as culture (excavations in Festos, Agia Triada, Gortys) and contemporary history (Matala). There is a supermarket for self-catering in the village, but also weekly markets in Mires and Timbaki. Alternatively, there are many tavernas in Kamilari and the surrounding villages for variety. Some are open all year round.
Getting there
One arrives in Crete by plane or ferry in Heraklion or Chania. Then you continue by rental car (approx. 75 minutes from Heraklion), taxi or bus. Directions on request.

Wir waren für eine Woche und zum ersten Mal auf Kreta. Das Spiti Karma ist ein extrem schönes Ferienhaus. Innen und aussen sehr stilvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Man kann sich einfach nur wohlfühlen und die herrliche Aussicht geniessen. Das Gastgeberpaar Stürmer und die Hausverwalterin Alexandra waren zu jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Spiti Karma bestens empfehlen, für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub. Vielen herzlichen Dank das wir unsere Ferien bei euch verbringen durften. Wir waren schon öfters auf Kreta und hatten immer schöne Ferienhäuser.... aber Spiti Karma ist unser absoluter Favorit. Man merkt, dass dieses Haus mit viel Liebe gestaltet wurde. Es fehlt an nichts. Es ist alles vorhanden was man aus einem deutschen Haushalt kennt (u.a. sogar Weingläser und Bierkrüge :-). Die Lage und der Blick sind sensationell. Die Vermieter waren immer erreichbar und haben immer sofort geantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Danke an Familie Stürmer, dass wir an Ihrem wahr geworden Traum teilhaben durften. LG Martina un Wolfgang
