The beach of Sint Maartenszee is among the cleanest in the Netherlands. A uniquely wide sandy beach with a true family atmosphere is awarded the Blue Flag. There are 2 cozy beach pavilions where you can enjoy the sunset or delicious food.
The beach is supervised and your dog is welcome on the beach all year round and may roam freely after 7 p.m.
Getting there
Amsterdam A9, Alkmaar Den Helder N9. Turn off at Sint Maartensvlotbrug over the bridge, first road on the right, Ruigeweg, and then after about 500 meters on the right side you will find Strand49, Ruigeweg 49.
