Holiday destination
The motorway connection to Florence, Pisa and to the sea at Viareggio is very good. It only takes 50 minutes as in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The famous marble quarries at Carrara and Pietrasanta are worth seeing and near the sea. Viareggio is a famous marina and a former cosmopolitan beach resort.
In the summer months there are numerous cultural events: blues and rock concerts in Lucca, Pistoia and opera performances in Torre del Lago in Viareggio.

Arrival
by car:
From Florence, take the A11 toward Lucca, Genua and take the Chiesina Uzzanese exit.
From Genua, Lucca: A11 towards Florence, Chiesina Uzzaneze exit.
From there it is 8 km to Pescia 4 km after Monte a Pescia.
By plane:
If you are arriving by air, you can fly directly to Pisa or Florence.
At the Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence, take the shuttle bus to the Santa Maria Novella central station and from there, the regional train towards Lucca or Viareggio to Pescia.
From Galileo Galilei in Pisa, shuttle bus to Pisa Centrale, then regional train towards Florence, which travels via Lucca to Pescia.

Angekommen und wohl gefühlt.
Wir haben die Tage bei Sigrid, Georg und Bruno sehr genossen.
Alleine entspannen oder nett unterhalten oder über das Erkunden der Toskana beraten lassen wollen: bei diesen Gastgebern geht alles wie von alleine.
Das leckere Essen von Georg schwebt uns immer noch über die Gaumen...
Die netten Gespräche mit Sigrid beim gemeinsamem Gassi vermissen wir.
Wir empfehlen, dringend dorthin zu reisen!!!

Um es gleich vorweg zu sagen, mehr geht nicht !!! Es war ein Suuper-Urlaub, es hat alles gepasst.Das Ferienhaus, liebevoll restauriert ,der wunderschöne Garten, das coole Wasserbecken,die wirklich herzlichen Gastgeber Sigrid&Georg. Sie sind für alles offen (siehe die klasse Bocciabahn) man bekommt Tipps für Unternehmungen, schöne Restaurants und vieles mehr. Georg ist ein wunderbarer Koch und Sigrid sorgt mit ihrer Herzlichkeit für Wohlfühlmomente. Labrador Bruno nicht zu vergessen,der uns viel Freude bereitet hat.
Nochmals vielen Dank für inspirierende Gespräche, einfach Zusammensein, wenn man Lust darauf hatte.Für uns war es fast wie ein zweites Zuhause und der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer!
