You've booked Villa Hilde. Do you need to cancel your reservation? Your reservation is binding and based on the regulations stated in the temporary rental agreement (BGB). An accommodation contract can be made verbally, by telephone or in writing. We adhere to the general cancellation policy stated in the BGB, which reads as follows:
If there's a breach of contract by the lessor
Provide the guest with an equivalent alternative accommodation and, if necessary, bear the loss. If the booked accommodation shows any defects, they shall be fixed promptly or compensated by reducing the rental fee.
If there's a breach of contract/cancellation by the tenant/guest
Pay the agreed rental fee for the entire rental period, minus expenses saved, to the lessor if re-letting to another party wasn't possible. The guideline values for expenses saved are 10% if you've booked an apartment. That means you have to pay 90% of the rental fee.
