Pollença and Port de Pollença are just a 10-minute drive. Both of towns offer a wide range of great cuisine and leisure activities. Pollença is one of the most beautiful villages on the island with its cultural monuments, its streets and its environment. You can attend classical music concerts, and art exhibitions; or go to restaurants, bars, and local craft shops. Some of the important places of interest in Pollença are the Roman bridge and the Calvary, of special interest for its long staircase leading up the hill of Calvary, consisting of 365 steps from where you can see a great view of Pollença and the bay.
Port de Pollença is a charming place, with a port where to find a wide variety of yachts, boats and fishing boats. You can walk around its promenade and enjoy all the different shops and restaurants. If you are adventurous, you can go diving, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, or play tennis, golf, etc. As for markets, they are held every Wednesday in Port de Pollença and every Sunday in Pollença.
