Holiday destination
In the immediate vicinity, there are numerous restaurants and wine taverns, as well as shops for daily needs (e.g., bakery, butcher, bank, supermarket). The lido, lakeside stage, and harbor are 2 km away and offer a variety of leisure activities.
The extensive network of hiking and biking trails starts right outside the front door. Nature lovers and bird watchers will enjoy the nature reserve. A trip to Vienna, Bratislava, or Sopron with many attractions is possible in 1 hour.
Getting there
Mörbisch is located about a 1-hour drive (70 km) south of Vienna, near the Hungarian border.
By car:
Take the A3 motorway to Eisenstadt Mitte and then follow the signs towards Rust/Mörbisch/Seefestspiele.
In Mörbisch, turn right at the first intersection into Dr.-Johann-Wurditschgasse and follow it for about 100 m to the beginning of Eschengasse. The holiday home is located at Eschengasse 2 on the right side, immediately after a newsstand.
Public transport:
Take the train/plane to Vienna and then the bus to Mörbisch.

Host informationIn 2015, we lovingly renovated the old wine estate completely and equipped it with modern amenities. Normally, you will have the house with its courtyard to yourself and spend beautiful and relaxing holidays there. Occasionally, we may be on site during the weekends.

Aufgrund der Bilder haben wir uns für unseren Kurzurlaub für das Eschenhöferl entschieden...und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wir hatten mit 5 erwachsenen Personen ausreichend Platz und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. An der Ausstattung hat uns vor allem die Spülmaschine und der Wassersprudler gefallen, tolle Idee für eine Ferienwohnung. Und dann der Innenhof, perfekt um an warmen Sommerabenden den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Von Mörbisch aus haben wir das Burgenland erkundet, alles ist gut und schnell erreichbar. Wir hatten auch das Glück, die superlieben Vermieter persönlich vor Ort kennenzulernen, sie haben uns bei allen Fragen und mit guten Tipps für unseren Urlaub weitergeholfen. Wenn wir nochmal nach Mörbisch kommen...dann nur ins Eschenhöferl!
