Holiday destination
Why don’t you walk on the famous Walther von der Vogelweide trail or on the scenic trails towards the “Törggele huts”in the area? It only takes a short drive to the starting points of countless hikes to huts and summits with stunning views of the Dolomites and breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by flowery meadows. During the winter you can enjoy a great skiing experience and hit the 1200 km of pristine slopes on the Sella Ronda or on the Gherdeina Ronda or on the picturesque Seiser Alm. If you like art and culture there are lively towns to explore nearby: the bishop town Brixen, the artistic town of Klausen, the main town of Bozen or the spa town Meran.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Klausen /Chiusa and follow the signs to Gröden/Val Gardena. After 4 km turn left to Albions. Follow this road and after 2 km just at the entrance of the village you will find Haus Sonnegg.

Wir bewohnten die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Panoramasuite im dritten Stock und konnten den reizvollen Balkonausblick von Albions über das Eisacktal bei einer Flasche Wein, allabendlich nach unseren Wanderungen und Ausflügen genießen. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und man kann ob Grund der nahen Autobahnanbindung sämtliche sehenswerte Ziele Südtirols in Kürze erreichen. Die Bletterbachschlucht bei Aldein, die Gärten von Schloß Trautmannsdorf/ Meran oder die wildromantische Gilfenklamm im Ridnauntal (nur um einiges zu nennen) sind einzigartig. Südtirol kennt noch blühende Bergwiesen, mit intakter Flora und einer Insektenvielfalt, welche man in Deutschland nur noch selten findet. Familie Vikoler ist sehr gastfreundlich und die Wohnung ist in einem tadellosen Zustand ! Entschleunigung pur !
