Holiday destination
The beach offers a wide range of activites. Either you do wind kiting or sayling on a catamaran, the beach offers a great view above the dune landscapes. The beaches of Nebel and Norddorf is one of the most beautiful ones of the world where you can relax or do some sunbathing. The historical town centre provides many shopping opportunities, cozy coffee shops, great restaurants or many cultual activites.
Getting there
How you ride to us: by plane/ship: Fly to Sylt and take a ferry to Wittdün/Amrum from there (Hörnum) which take off twice a day. by car/ship: Take a WDR-Ferry from Dagebüll -Mole or from Nordstrand. You don't neccessarily need a car in Amrum all you need is a bike or you take the bus or basically you could even walk. You can either take your car with you or park it at the mainland, before boarding to Amrum. From the port Stucklahnungshörn leaves twice a day the "Adler-Express" from Hallig Hooge to Amrum (without taking the car-possibility) by train/ship: right next to the port in Dagebüll - Mole is a train-station

Seit Jahren verbringen wir zum Jahresanfang eine Woche als Famile mit 3 Generationen auf Amrum. Die Heidelogde ist für uns das beste Haus welches wir bisher gebucht haben. Die gemütliche und symphatische Atmosphäre eines 'bewohnten' Hauses bedeutet Entspannung vom ersten Moment an. Sehr gerne wieder und wir können einen Aufenthalt gerade für Familien mit großen, mittleren oder kleinen Kindern nur empfehlen.

Wir waren mit Großeltern, Eltern und Geschwistern und Kindern auf Amrum und haben das Haus sehr genossen! Die Großeltern im EG alles ohne Treppen erreichbar, der pubertierende Sohn im Souterrain Zimmer konnte sich zurückziehen und wir Frauen alle oben auf die 3 Schlafzimmer verteilt. Selten haben wir uns so wohlgefühlt,da das Haus eingerichtet ist als würde dort ständig jemand wohnen. Keine nackten, unpersönlichen Räume wie es sonst oft in Mietwohnungen der Fall ist. Das Highlight ist das Ess und Wohnzimmer! Wahnsinnig hell und freundlich, so dass man gerne Zeit darin verbringt. Die Lage absolut Ruhig aber schön mitten in Nebel. 5 Min zu Fuß zum Bäcker und Fahrradverleih. Auch ein Supermarkt der 7 Tage die Woche offen hat ist direkt im Ort. Tolles Ambiente, wunderschöne Insel- super Urlaub! 5 von 5 Sternen
