The distance from the front door to the centre is exactly 2 km.
From here you have the ideal base for excursions, hiking or cycling in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Bliesgau and the whole of the Saarland.
Bicycle rental with free delivery. The bike you want is waiting for you. Tours across the French border also available.

Motorway A8 towards Zweibrücken, exit Einöd/Blieskastel,
through Webenheim, at the roundabout straight ahead to Mimbach (second exit),
in the centre of the village turn left into Winterbergstraße, follow it until the end, then
right-left onto Mendelssohnstraße 10

Die Ferienwohnung "Katja" in Blieskastel können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und immer für die Gäste da. Ruhige Wohnlage und super Ausstattung, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Ein gemütlicher Sitzplatz im Garten und der Parkplatz direkt auf dem Grundstück, perfekt.
Die Gästekarte Saarland Card inclusive im Übernachtungspreis. Bus und Bahn,
viele andere Aktivitäten wie Freizeitzentrum , Freibäder und Museen sind dann kostenfrei.
Die vielen schönen Wanderwege sind sehr gut ausgeschildert.
Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Danke. Die Dorfstrukturen sind leider nicht optimal, aber historisch bedingt. Der Saarpfalzkreis tut da sein Mögliches.
Dafür sind Wandern und Radfahren in der Natur ein Erlebnis.

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend.
Nachdem wir dort ankamen, wurden wir sehr herzlich vom Vermieterehepaar Willkommen geheißen.
In der Wohnung selber fehlte es uns an nichts. Sie ist hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Zur Wohnung gehört auch eine Sitzecke im Freien sowie ein Parkplatz.
Ein Highlight der Unterkunft ist die Zugabe der Saarland Card, mit der man das Saarland,größtenteils kostenfrei, erkunden kann.
