Searching for shark teeth on the beach is a popular activity among many visitors. Plus, a shark tooth makes a lovely souvenir.
Holiday destination
In "Summer Village het Zwin", along the winding streets surrounded by greenery, you'll find the bungalow, approximately a 5 to 10-minute walk from the nature reserve "Het Zwin", the shops, and the beach. Cadzand-Bad, located on the North Sea coast, is the southernmost seaside resort in the Netherlands and is only 10 km from Knokke-Heist and 30 km from Bruges. Cadzand has been richly blessed by Mother Nature: with an 11 km long, clean sandy beach, a beautiful dune area, and the nature reserve "Het Zwin". It is one of the few coasts where you can enjoy a panoramic view during a walk over the dunes, overlooking the sea, the beach, and the inland.

Wir haben hier 2 sehr schöne und erholsame Wochen verbracht. Mit dem Wetter haten wir viel Glück. Das Haus mit Garten ist wunderschön. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, sehr schön eingerichtet, tolle Betten und an der gesamten Ausstattung und Einrichtung gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen. Alles Klasse! Der Garten ist wunderschön und auch dort ist alles bestens ausgestattet, Sitz - und Liegemöglichkeiten, Sonnenschirme und alles ist zum Wohlfühlen. Land, Menschen und Umgebung haben uns sehr gefallen.

Das Haus (in einer Villengegend) mit Ikea-Möbeln absolut o.k. Es fehlten aber einige elementare Dinge, z.B. Badematte, Küchenhandtücher, Fön. Das zweite Bad ist als solches nicht zu bezeichnen. Keinerlei Abtrennung vom Schlafzimmer (Blick vom Bett auf die Toilette). Betten müssen selbst bezogen werden. Positiv auch die großzügig bemessenen Gartenmöbel und die beiden Obstbäume! Trotz der kleinen Mängel haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auto zum Einkaufen erforderlich.
