Holiday destination
Kallmerode is located in the middle of the enchanting Eichsfeld area between the Harz Mountains and the Hainich National Park, which can be reached by car in less than half an hour and offers a variety of excursions and activities. Starting right from Kallmerode, cycling and hiking trails are ideal for exploring nature and/or cosy Eichsfeld villages. Geocaching fans can also reach various points (also laid out as a hiking route) on foot from here.
Getting there
Coming from the A38 Autobahn, take the Leinefelde exit via the by-pass road in the direction of Mühlhausen/Dingelstädt. The next town is Kallmerode. After the pedestrian crossing in the town turn left onto the large parking lot and then immediately right again. After approx. You will arrive at your destination after 100 m. Coming from Erfurt via the A4, stay on the B247 until you reach Kallmerode. In the town turn right at the first street. The street ends directly at the front door.

Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung hatte alles was wir uns gewünscht hatten und schon beim ersten Rundgang mit der sehr symphatischen Gastgeberin war sofort ein Wohlfühleffekt da. Landschaftlich ist das Eichsfeld ein ideales Wandergebiet und die Städte der Umgebung wissen mit ihrem typisch mittelalterlichen Charme zu überzeugen. Kallmerode bietet mit seiner Lage einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen des Eichsfeldes. Wir wünschen den Kallmerödern das sie bald eine Umgehungstraße für ihren Ort bekommen, da die Lärmbelastung durchaus nicht ohne ist. Gott sei Dank liegt die Ferienwohnung etwas weiter von der Bundestraße entfernt und ist gut gedämmt so das wir im Schlafzimmer davon nichts mitbekommen haben. Wir danken herzlich für die schöne und erholsame Zeit die wir hier hatten.
