There are a lot of things to do in and around Abtenau.
The next place for outdoor swimming is 6 kilometres away (and there are several others not too far away as well).
If you want to go sledding or ice skating you can do that directly in Abtenau.
In and around Abtenau there are many possibilities to take cable cars up the mountains and just enjoy the view or go for a walk.
Cross-country skiing trail and free shuttle in the nearby ski area of Dachstein West.
To the Abtenauer mountain roads 1 km.

The city of Salzburg is 40 minutes to go by car.
Getting there
Coming from the center of abentau you drive on for about 1 kilometre until you see Restaurant Fischbachstube on the right hand side. Immediately after that you turn left. In approximately 200 metres there is our house. We wish you a pleasant journey.

Wir haben uns in der gut ausgestatteten FeWo sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich.
Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist ein Traum...
Wir haben die Nahe Umgebung erkundet und viel gesehen und erlebt.
Es war ein wirklich sehr schöner Familienurlaub für uns.

Wir haben 11 wirklich schöne, erlebnisreiche und erholsameTage im Haus Ronacher verbracht. Die (kurzfristige) Buchung verlief entspannt, Familie Ronacher ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend - tolle und liebe Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Auch einen tollen Ausblick vom großen Balkon. Informationen gibt es reichlich in Form von Prospekten, ergänzt durch Ratschläge von den Gastgebern. Perfekte Lage, man ist schnell im Ort Abtenau mit einem guten Angebot an Geschäften und Restaurants. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Auto ist eine Vielzahl von Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Und wer mag, kann seine Wanderungen direkt zu Fuß ab Haustür beginnen.
