Due to the proximity to the Atlantic and the Pyrenees, there is unlimited leisure. The mild climate is very inviting for outdoor activities from March to late October.
Holiday destination
The house is situated in a quiet rural setting with a beautiful view of the Weideland and the foothills of the Pyrenees, at the foot of the "La Rhune" (900m), between the idyllic villages of Urrugne and Ascain. Very close to the Atlantic coast of Saint Jean de Luz (10 min), Hendaye (15 min), Biarritz (20 min), Hondarribia (Spain) (20 min), San Sebastián (Spain) (30 min).
Getting there
Motorway exit Saint Jean de Luz Sud on the A63 (from Biarritz direction San Sebastian). Follow the sign Urrugne and go straight for 1 km Arrive at a roundabout Leave the roundabout (9.00 am) in the direction of Ascain / Olhette and continue straight for 1 km You come to another roundabout, continue straight on (about 3 km) afterwards leave the old customs station on the right and drive straight from direction, Olhette / Ascain / Sare. After about 2 km follow the last roundabout. Leave this (09.00 clock) in the direction of Ciboure / Ecole d'Olhette. After about 300 meters turn right and then turn right

Die Wohnung Etables im schönen Maison Oyan empfing uns bei einem erstmaligen Trip ins Baskenland als mit gekonnter Hand perfekt eingerichtete, blitzsaubere FeWo in top Lage, um diese abwechslungsreiche Gegend zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist bestens, das Bett mega-bequem. Es stehen zwei schöne Schlafzimmer zur Auswahl. Abends kann man sich auf den großzügigen Sofas oder in den Lesesesseln entspannen und in einem der vorhandenen Comics, Büchern, Zeitschriften schmökern. Infomaterial und Wanderkarten gibts auch und das WLAN ist top. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht worden. Dazu sehr sympathische Gastgeber und ja, auch wenn das nicht direkt mit der Wohnung zu tun hat ;-) - wir hatten im März durchweg schönstes frühsommerliches Wetter ;-) Empfehlung mit Kusshand, DANKE- wir kommen gerne wieder!

Alles hat gestimmt und unseren Erwartungen entsprochen: die Wohnung ist wunderschön, gemütlich, sehr sauber und dabei gut ausgestattet, die Umgebung ruhig, etwas abgelegen und doch ist man schnell mit dem Auto an den Stränden des Atlantiks oder in den größeren Orten und Städten. Der Vermieter, Steffen, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Seine Tipps waren viel wert, wenn es um die Erkundung des wunderschönen Baskenlandes oder den richtigen Zeitpunkt eines Strandbesuches ging. Wir hatten eine rundum schöne Urlaubswoche im Maison Oyan!
