Our beautiful holiday home is located in the Sorbian Lusatia .
In one hour by car Dresden can be reached with its sights such as Semperoper , Frauenkirche , the Green Vault but also the Castle Pillnitz , the Bastion and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains . The Spreewald or the capital Berlin are also recommended as a day trip .
For children the dinosaur park in Kleinwelka is a good address .
A wide , well-marked cycling path network awaits you here.
Getting there
By car : motorway A4 exit Burkau towards Kamenz ;
after about 8 km exit towards Bautzen ;
after 50 meters turn left towards Räckelwitz , about 200 meters behind Miltitz on hilltop turn right to Dürrwicknitz or
S-Bahn from Dresden to station . Kamenz , then by bicycle to Dürrwicknitz 7 km

Die Alte Herberge ist sehr gemütlich und urig. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Der Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Beschäftigung (viele Tiere, Spielplatz, Tischtennis, Federball). Die Familie Bedrich ist sehr gastfreundlich und wir kommen gerne wieder...

Wir verbrachten einen herrlichen Urlaub bei Familie Bedrich. Das Richtige für alle die Ruhe, aber keine Langeweile suchen und denen auch die Atmosphäre einer FeWo wichtig ist. Genossen das alte Lehmhaus, das leckere Frühstück mit frischem Obst aus dem Garten, den offenen Blick vom Freisitz über Felder und Streuobstwiesen, die Kinder den Spielplatz hinter dem Haus und die vielen Tiere ... Die Lausitz ist eine wunderschöne Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Familien - viele Badeseen, Rad- und Wanderwege, Saurierpark, Irrgarten, Schmetterlingspark, still gelegte Tagebaue, die schönen Städte Bautzen, Görlitz und Herrnhut. Auch die sorbische Kultur trägt zur Besonderheit der Gegend bei. Bequem für einen Tagesausflug erreichbar: die sächsische Schweiz, das Zittauer Gebirge und Polen.
