"We had a very warm welcome from our friendly host Célia, including a generous food package. She showed us everything and provided lots of tipps what to do on the island. The cottage even exceeded our expectations. It is well equipped and the interior is a perfect mix of modern furniture and appliances combined with antique pieces as decorations, telling about the family history. Besides there was a nice, clean pool and evevn a new garage. From the garden and the kitchen window there is a nice sea view. We really enjoyed our stay and had a good base to make trips across Sao Miguel. If we hadn't booked another house for our second week in advance, we would have stayed another week.
