The house is the grandparents' house of Carolin and was built around 1890 as a brewery. The grandfather (gunsmith, retail shop for hunting supplies) later significantly enlarged and added to it. In 2024, large parts of the house were renovated; for example, the roof was completely re-covered and insulated both inside and outside, and the sanitary facilities in the attic apartment were fully renewed.
The location couldn’t be better, as you can almost check in directly from the train station and around the corner is the main street (pedestrian zone/shopping street). Interesting for culture enthusiasts: directly opposite is the Saalbau, which serves as a cultural, conference, and coronation venue (Wine Queen!!). Affordable parking can be found behind the train station, and bicycles/motorcycles/golf carts can be parked in the enclosed courtyard.
