At the entrance to the "Kroppacher Schweiz" in the beautiful village of Müschenbach you find our holiday apartment “Break from Home”, which was newly expanded in 2023. Modernity and comfort come together on 81 m². We offer you an oasis of well-being in which you can start your relaxation without any worries. Our holiday apartment is professionally cleaned after every booking, so you will find perfect cleanliness at all times and therefore the best conditions to feel comfortable straight away.
You can reach our holiday apartment on Schulstrasse either by car or by bus/train. The holiday apartment has 2 parking spaces located directly at the house. In the spacious entrance there is the opportunity to eat or drink something at a seating area.
You can reach the holiday apartment in the first upper floor via the well-maintained staircase. An open staircase plateau welcomes you. Here you have the opportunity to leave your shoes and hang up your jackets after your arrival and after excursions.
In the entrance area of the holiday apartment you will find a small utility room, which is equipped with a Miele washing machine and a Bosch dryer. Universal detergents as well as limescale protection are part of the apartment's furnishings and do not need to be brought along separately.
The holiday apartment has two beautiful, light-flooded bedrooms. In addition to its coziness, the first bedroom impresses with the double bed under the skylight. The view of the starry sky is guaranteed when the sky is clear. From the window you can look over Müschenbach, the Müschenbach community forest and the entire Kroppacher Schweiz. The second bedroom has a bunk bed in addition to a double bed. This means you will find four sleeping spaces in this room. In addition to the sleeping places described, the holiday apartment optionally has two children's travel beds, so that even the little ones can sleep safely and comfortably.
Our holiday apartment also has a modern bathroom. The walk-in rainforest shower promises a unique shower experience. The mirror with integrated light underlines the wellness experience. You can use the large radiator to dry and keep warm the hand and bath towels provided (one per person per week). Hand soap and a hairdryer are also among the amenities in the apartment.
The highlight of our holiday apartment is the open and modern living and dining area with an open kitchen area. Here are no wishes left. The white kitchen with integrated bar is an absolute eye-catcher. It invites you to linger and feel good. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at the bar with a view of the Müschenbach Forest or end the evening with a glass of wine or beer. Everyone gets their money's worth here. In the kitchen, which we have equipped with branded appliances - oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, etc. - every meal is a pleasure. Since we provide spices, dishwashing liquid, rinse aid, garbage bags, coffee filters, dishwashing and drying cloths for your stay, you can start your vacation right away. The solid wooden table exudes absolute cosiness. Here you can enjoy life. The three large skylights create a light-flooded living area where you can relax and let your soul breathe freely. The cozy living room area completes the room concept. A comfortable sofa and a cozy armchair invite you to linger. In the illuminated cupboards and dressers you will find everything you need... a few classics to read, a few games, toys for children and much more. Of course, a television with HD reception should not be missing. The sofa can be pulled out into a double bed if required. Two high chairs can be provided for the youngest guests. You have WiFi reception throughout the apartment. You are also welcome to use the option of connecting your devices to the existing LAN ports (max. download 100 Mbit/s, max. upload 6 Mbit/s).
Müschenbach is located on the outskirts of the city of Hachenburg, where you will find all the shopping options you need. In addition to a large selection of grocery stores, drugstores and pharmacies, you will also find all other shops for your daily needs. Wonderful restaurants invite you to go out and linger. Hachenburg also has a cinema. The city park was just redesigned last year. Here families will find a wonderful, large adventure playground that appeals to all age groups of children. The landscape museum, the swimming pool with outdoor pool, various sports options such as mini golf, tennis, etc. round off the recreational offerings.
In Müschenbach itself you will find a bakery (approx. 400 meters), a drinks market, a country inn and three children's playgrounds. Müschenbach is a wonderful starting point for hikes or bike tours. In the immediate vicinity you can reach the Marienstatt Abbey and its associated monastery brewery restaurant. The “Kleine Deutsche Eck” (confluence of the Kleine and Großer Nister) is also just a stone’s throw away. To give you a foretaste of the “Little German Corner”, a panoramic shot of this gem enriches our bar.
