A small seaside resort on the Basque coast, Ciboure charms its visitors with its old town with its old stone or half-timbered houses, its picturesque fishing port and its lively Sunday morning market offering fresh produce and local specialties. Ciboure is a village of artists. In particular, it welcomed numerous painters who made its port and its streets a veritable open-air workshop. And it is in the heart of the city that the famous composer of “Boléro”, Maurice Ravel, was born in 1875.
Ciboure also delights lovers of relaxation who can enjoy the joys of swimming and relaxing on the fine sandy beaches, while admiring the silhouette of the Socoa fort and the comings and goings of the boats.
As soon as you enter the front door, your gaze will escape through the large bay window to discover the Untxin river which flows at the foot of the building, the green spaces converted into play areas and the Basque facades of the opposite bank. The apartment, on the first floor of a quiet residence, is less than 100 meters from the beach, 100 meters from cafes and shops and 200 m from the small port of Socoa and its Fort. If you prefer cycling, you are there! The cycle path passes right by your apartment! Ciboure is 10 minutes on foot, Saint Jean 15 minutes, along the bay.
