The arrival of the metro in the district in 1987 led to a new redevelopment and a reinstallation of the Bandstand in the same location.
- Place Ambroise-Courtois: it is named in homage to this radical socialist, friend of Douard Herriot and municipal councilor of Lyon, who was assassinated by the militia in January 1944.
- The Lumière Institute: a cinema house with a dual vocation of heritage conservation and dissemination since its creation in 1982.
