Our house is located in a very quiet area in Lärchenwiese, not far from the southern shore of Lake Achensee, which, with its 8.4 km length, is the largest lake in Tyrol. Inntalautobahn A12 (Vignettenpflicht), Ausfahrt Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee-Bundesstraße B181, nach 7 Kilometern erreichen Sie das Zentrum von Maurach.
Es ist auch eine mautfreie Anreise über den Achenpass oder Bad Tölz möglich. Von München bis zur Autobahnausfahrt Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass oder Bad Tölz – über die Staatsgrenze über Achenkirch weiter nach Maurach.
