Chalet Guus was newly built in the spring of 2019 and accommodates two people. The chalet is very comfortably and modernly furnished as a studio.
Inside the chalet, there are two very cozy armchairs for relaxing. There is a flat-screen TV with digital reception (including German channels).
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, 2 induction hobs, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and oven, as well as a high table with two bar stools. The chalet has a comfortable box spring bed (160 x 200 m) and bed linen is provided. The chalet has a bathroom with shower cabin, washbasin, toilet, and towels. Outside on the terrace, you will find garden furniture and a hammock! In the adjacent wooden shed, an electric grill, sun loungers, and a parasol are at your disposal. There is also space for 2 bicycles. You can park your car directly at the back of the chalet. The garden is separated from the adjacent Chalet Guus and offers an unobstructed view of the neighboring forest.
Wi-Fi (4G) is available in Chalet Guus. Dogs are not welcome here.

Located in the quiet and small bungalow park Elsrijk, just about 900 meters from the seaside resort De Koog on the Wadden island Texel, you'll find the charming Chalet Guus. During your stay, for a fee, you can use the facilities of the adjacent bungalow park: indoor pool, sauna, bicycle rental, and a small supermarket. The cozy center and the wide sandy beach of De Koog are just a few minutes' walk from Chalet Guus.
In Park Elsrijk, children aged 2 to 16 are not allowed.
The lovely seaside resort De Koog is situated on the beautiful Wadden island Texel. This charming coastal village has many reasons to stay, but the main attraction is undoubtedly the kilometers-long beach. From the center, you can walk directly onto the (wide) beach, where several beautiful beach pavilions are located for you to enjoy the sun terrace. Many of these pavilions are now open all year round, making it very attractive to get some fresh air on the beach during the winter.
At De Koog beach, you also have the opportunity to engage in various (water) sports such as kite surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
De Koog has a lively center with lovely shops, restaurants, nightlife, and supermarkets. If you enjoy shopping, you can now also visit the center on Sundays, as most shops are now open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In May and June, there is a fair every Sunday, which takes place every Tuesday in July and August.
On the last weekend of August, the Sea & Street Festival takes place, featuring various performances by salsa bands, and the village buzzes with a tropical atmosphere. Later in the season, on the first weekend of October, the Wind Festival at Paal 20 takes place, a special kite festival on the beach.
There are several beautiful excursions from De Koog, for example, to Ecomare (near Paal 17), a wagon ride on the beach, or a visit to the Juttersmuseum.
In the north of the island lies the village of de Cocksdorp, where you can climb the Texel lighthouse or take a day trip by boat to Vlieland.
In the center of De Koog, there are various options for bicycle or e-bike rental, so you can explore the beautiful island by bike. The nearby village De Burg is also a lovely town; this village also has a very cozy center with several typical Texel shops.

Cancellations are possible at any time. However, a booking cancellation must be made in writing exclusively. In the event of cancellation, the holiday seeker must pay Callinghe compensation. This amounts to:
- up to 61 days before the start of the trip* 25% of the travel price + the booking fee; (from May 1, 2020)
- from the 60th day to the 35th day before the start of the trip* 50% of the travel price + the booking fee;
- from the 34th day to the 2nd day before the start of the trip* 90% of the travel price + the booking fee;
- for a later withdrawal or if the trip is not commenced, the entire travel price is due.
The date of receipt of the written cancellation notice at Callinghe is always decisive.
The compensation is to be refunded proportionally minus administrative costs if the place is reserved by a third party on the recommendation of the holiday seeker and with the written consent of Callinghe for the same period or part of this period.
