Description

Located in Neumagen-Dhron, this holiday home has sleeping beds for 10 people, although the house is better suited for 8 adults and 2 kids. It is located near Mosel River for wonderful biking, hiking, boating and wine tasting opportunities. It is located within the old Roman Village walls, so the streets are historic. The house has multiple levels and sleeping rooms are upstairs. The kitchen is upgraded with new appliances, a separate dining room and a new TV lounge with a wine bar.

Nearby lie lots of great restaurants, wine shops and grocery stores in the village and the neighbouring villages. There is a cafe across the street with a wonderful bakery.

We have electric heating in all rooms and each room has normal heating controls. There is a wood pellet stove in the kitchen for wintertime use. Please maximize the use of recycling bins. There is a small parking spot in front of the house for loading and unloading of baggage. Please refrain from loud house parties and loud music.

Das Haus war sehr geräumig und passte zu unserer Vorstellung von einem Familientreffen. Es war sauber und der Vermieter kam auch noch persönlich vorbei und war sehr nett. Wir hatten mit 6 erwachsenen Personen genug Platz, haben abends zusammen gekocht und konnten alle gut sitzen. Es war ein rundum schönes Wochenende in Neumagen-Dhron. Das Örtchen ist toll, der einzige Nachteil war, dass der Bäcker gegenüber uns angemeckert hat, weil wir für das Frühstück zu viele Brötchen gekauft hatten ;-).

Ankunft am Mietobjekt am Sonntag 01.08.2021 gegen 16:00 Uhr
Nach dem wir die Schlüssel dem Schlüsseltresor entnommen haben, haben wir das Objekt betreten und uns die Örtlichkeit angeschaut. Wir sind nach kurzer Besprechen zum Schluß gekommen, daß wir keinen Tag in dem Mietobjekt bleiben werden. Ich verstehe jetzt auch warum keine Haustiere erlaubt sind! In jeder zweite Ecke haben sich Spinnen breit gemacht und dort wo keine mehr sind befinden sich nur noch Spinnweben. In der oberen Etage haben wir dann ein Kratzen gehört, konnten es aber nicht genau lokalisieren. Unsere erste Vermutung war, das eine Katze an einer Tür gekratzt hat, unsere zweite Vermutung war dann leider eine Maus oder Ratte. Nach diesem Vorfall haben meine Frau und meine Tochter fluchtartig das Gebäude verlassen. Auch der Zustand der Betten ist zu beanstanden. Das groß Doppelbett im ersten Stock hat statt Beine untergelegte Dachlatten. Die Fotos in der Anzeige entsprechen leider nicht dem Ist-Zustand.
Wir haben das den Schlüssel ind den Tresor zugelegt und sind wieder abgefahren. Die Ansprechpartnerin Vorort habe ich erst am Montag telefonisch erreicht und informiert.
