Our well cared-for holiday apartment is located over two levels in the highest storey of a beautiful old villa with wonderful old wooden floors in the city district of Mainz-Kostheim.
The new kitchen is fully furnished and includes a Nespresso machine, a milk foamer, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, a ceramic stove, an oven and a spacious fridge with a freezer compartment, all of which are available for you to use.
The large bathroom is a wonderful place to relax with its spacious corner bathtub that boasts a view out into the green surroundings. The toilet and the bathroom are in separate rooms.
You can spend the night in a very comfortable double bed in the master bedroom. A desk provides enough space for a laptop.
The spacious living room with a smart TV contains a cosy corner seating area and another sofa for you to use. Books, travel guides and information about the region are all ready and waiting for you.
A staircase in the living room leads upwards into the pitched roof where you'll find a special room under the stars. Up to 4 people can stay the night there - the room is perfectly suited for two adults and two kids.
The Villa Magnolia holiday apartment lies in a central location in Mainz-Kostheim, but nevertheless enjoys an unobstructed (and unobstructable!) view and a direct connection out into the lush, green surroundings and the Maaraue recreational area. It's located very close to the banks of the river Rhine and the river Main - that makes it perfect for sports fans, as the jogging trail almost runs past the doorstep.
The house is an old-style building from the year 1928 that has a lot of charm and flair. The garden is available for you to use in summer. The shade of the old magnolia tree is a great place to spend some time!

Mainz-Kostheim is one of the oldest wine growing communities in the Rheingau district. It sits at the entrance to the Rheingau region, where the river Main flows into the Rhine.
The Villa Magnolia is very well connected to lots of transport routes. It's only a short distance to everything you need for day-to-day living, such as a baker, a supermarket, restaurants, etc. It's only a stone's throw to Mainz city centre and it's also easy to get to the city of Wiesbaden by bus.
Despite deep historical and transport connections with the city of Mainz, the town of Kostheim lies under the administrative auspices of the spa town of Wiesbaden and can thus offer a combination of the cultural offerings of two state capitals at once.
Public transport connections located right next to the holiday apartment let you travel to Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt. You can reach Mainz city centre by bus within 10 minutes without changing once.
Mainz-Kostheim can be reached within a few minutes from the motorway exits on the A60 (Ginsheim-Gustavsburg), the A671 (Hochheim am Main) and the A66 (Mainz-Kastel).
If you're coming by train, travel to Mainz central station or Kastel railway station and then change to a bus (line 54 or 55).
